Bhuvira Rakshati – Vendor Policy & Enforcement Framework
This Vendor Policy (“Policy”) governs the relationship between Bhuvira Rakshati (“Platform”) and all vendors (“Vendors”) listing products on the Platform.

This Policy is aligned with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, CCPA Greenwashing Guidelines (2024), and ASCI Environmental Claims Guidelines (2024).
1. Platform Model
- Zero Commission Model: The Platform does not charge any commission on vendor sales.
- Revenue Structure: Vendors may be subject to subscription fees and minimal transaction processing fees.
- Payment Flow: Payments are processed via third-party payment gateway (e.g., Cashfree). Funds are received by the Platform and subsequently settled to Vendors.
- Invoice Generation: The Platform provides system-generated invoices.
2. Vendor Eligibility & Verification
- Only verified vendors are permitted to sell on the Platform.
- All vendors undergo mandatory manual verification before onboarding.
- Vendors must provide accurate business, identity, and compliance documents.
- The Platform reserves the right to reject any vendor without obligation to provide reasons.
3. Product Listing & Content Standards
- All product information must be accurate, complete, and truthful.
- Misleading, deceptive, or incomplete listings are strictly prohibited.
- Product descriptions must clearly disclose materials, ingredients, and sourcing.
- Images must accurately represent the product.
4. Vendor Green Claims Policy (Integrated)
All environmental claims must comply with the following:
- Claims must be specific, verifiable, and evidence-based
- Generic claims like “eco-friendly” or “sustainable” without proof are prohibited
- “Organic” claims require valid certification (e.g., India Organic, GOTS)
- “Compostable” claims require valid CPCB certification
- “Bamboo” textiles must clearly disclose if viscose/rayon
- Fake or self-created eco-labels are strictly prohibited
Vendors must disclose environmental trade-offs where applicable.
5. Pricing & Tax Compliance
- Vendors are responsible for accurate pricing and applicable taxes.
- Vendors must comply with GST and other tax regulations.
- The Platform shall not be responsible for vendor tax liabilities.
6. Order Processing & Fulfilment
- Logistics may operate under a hybrid model (vendor-managed or platform-assisted).
- Vendors must process orders within specified timelines.
- Delays must be communicated promptly.
7. Returns, Refunds & Customer Experience
- Vendors are responsible for approving refunds in accordance with Platform policies.
- Vendors must adhere to return and refund timelines.
- Poor customer experience may result in penalties.
8. Vendor Performance Standards
- Maintain product quality and consistency
- Ensure timely order fulfilment
- Maintain high customer satisfaction
- Respond promptly to platform communications
9. Transparency & Sustainability Disclosure
- Full material and ingredient disclosure is mandatory
- Packaging and end-of-life details must be provided
- Environmental limitations must be disclosed
10. Enforcement & Penalty System
Violation levels and actions:
- Minor Violation: Warning + mandatory correction
- Repeated Violation: Product listing suspension
- Serious Misrepresentation: Permanent vendor removal
- Fraud / Fake Certification: Legal action may be initiated
Additional enforcement actions may include:
- Product delisting
- Vendor suspension
- Account termination
11. Platform Rights
- Modify or remove misleading content
- Request additional documentation
- Conduct audits and verification checks
- Suspend or terminate vendors
12. Vendor Liability & Indemnity
- Vendors are solely responsible for their listings and claims
- Vendors shall indemnify the Platform against legal claims arising from misrepresentation
13. Payment Settlement
- Payments are processed via third-party gateways
- Settlement timelines will be defined by the Platform
- The Platform reserves the right to hold payments in case of disputes
14. Intellectual Property
- Vendors retain ownership of their brand content
- Platform may use content for promotional purposes
15. Platform Authority
The Platform shall have final authority in all disputes, policy interpretation, and enforcement decisions.
16. Termination
- Vendors may be terminated for policy violations
- Accounts may be suspended pending investigation
17. Data Protection & Privacy (DPDP Act, 2023)
- Vendors shall comply with the provisions of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
- Vendors must ensure that all customer data accessed through the Platform is used solely for order fulfilment and customer service purposes.
- Vendors shall not store, misuse, sell, or share customer data without lawful basis.
- Any data breach or unauthorized use must be reported to the Platform immediately.
18. Dispute Resolution Mechanism
All disputes shall be resolved through the following structured mechanism:
- Level 1: Platform Grievance Redressal System
- Level 2: Mediation between the parties
- Final Level: Courts of New Delhi shall have exclusive jurisdiction
The Platform shall retain final authority in matters related to policy interpretation and enforcement.
19. Force Majeure
The Platform shall not be held liable for any delay or failure in performance caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- Government actions or restrictions
- Technical failures or system outages
- Payment gateway disruptions
- Logistics or supply chain interruptions
20. Amendments
The Platform reserves the right to modify or update this Policy at any time.
Continued use of the Platform after such changes shall constitute acceptance of the revised terms.
21. Acceptance of Terms
By registering on the Platform, listing products, or continuing to use the services, the Vendor acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by this Policy.
